Lights, color, excitement, horse shows, and flamenco —it’s the Feria of Seville, baby!
Seville’s biggest celebration and one of the most iconic festivals in all of Spain.

Declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest, the Feria is one of those events you just can’t miss.
The whole city gets dressed to the nines (guys rock their suits, ladies slip into those gorgeous flamenco dresses💃), and the vibe is electric.
Locals and visitors from all over the world alike are out enjoying the music, the food, and the infectious atmosphere.

It all kicks off on May 5th Monday night with the Noche del Pescaíto🦐, where fish is the dish of the night,
and then everyone heads to the Feria’s main entrance to watch the lights go on.
And once those lights are up, it’s on!

Expect flamenco dancing💃🏻, parades with horses🐎 and carts, and fairground rides for both kids and big kids alike.
While other Spanish cities like Cordoba and Malaga have their own ferias, Seville’s takes it to another level.
It’s more exclusive, though—most of the casetas (those little marquee bars where the partying happens) are private, belonging to families or groups of friends.

Our caseta is the Ybarra one! It’s one of the most important and exclusive, because José María Ybarra, along with Narciso Bonaplata, founded the Feria,
and there’s a painting in the caseta that commemorates it. It’s going to be so much fun!🔝💪🏻💥😍

If you’re into bullfighting🐂 — or even if you’re not —the Feria is also a prime time to check out a bullfight at the Maestranza Bullring,
where some of the season’s most famous bullfighters show off their skills.
And, of course, food!!!😋 This is the perfect time to dig into Seville’s most iconic dishes: fried fish served in paper cones and papas aliñás (a super tasty potato salad).
All washed down with a rebujito —a refreshing mix of manzanilla sherry and white lemonade🍹.
It’s so popular that over a million and a half bottles of sherry are consumed every year!

It’s a celebration of life, culture, and tradition, and trust me, you’ll want to be part of it.
